Welcome to alderops.com (the “Site”), operated by Alder Ops, LLC, doing business as AlderOps (“we,” “us”). By using the Site or purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
1. What we provide
AlderOps offers educational content, digital products (guides, toolkits, templates), and operations consulting services. All content is provided for general educational and informational purposes — see our Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms.
2. Digital product license
When you purchase a digital product, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for yourself or a single business you own or operate. You may not resell, redistribute, share, publish, or repackage any product or portion of it, whether free or paid; use our products to create competing products; or remove branding or copyright notices. In plain terms: you bought it for your business — use it there as much as you like; just don’t give it away or sell it.
3. Intellectual property
Everything on the Site and in our products — text, frameworks, templates, graphics, and branding — is owned by Alder Ops, LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law. Free resources may be shared by linking to the Site, not by redistributing the files.
4. Purchases and payment
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change at any time (changes don’t affect completed purchases). Payments are processed by third-party processors; digital products are delivered electronically, typically immediately after purchase. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
5. Consulting services
Consulting engagements are governed by a separate written agreement between you and Alder Ops, LLC. If those terms conflict with these, the engagement agreement controls.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site — including attempting to access others’ accounts or data, scraping content at scale, interfering with the Site’s operation, or using it for anything unlawful.
7. No professional advice; no guaranteed results
Our content and products are educational. They are not legal, tax, accounting, financial, or investment advice, and no consultant-client or professional relationship is created by a purchase. Business results depend overwhelmingly on factors we don’t control — your execution, market, and circumstances — so we make no guarantees of revenue, savings, or outcomes. See the full Disclaimer.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and products are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alder Ops will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or lost profits, arising from your use of the Site or products. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose (or $100 if you paid nothing).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Alder Ops, LLC harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or products or your violation of these Terms.
11. Third-party links and tools
The Site references third-party tools and services (e.g., software we recommend in guides). We’re not responsible for their content, pricing, or performance, and a mention is not an endorsement guarantee. Verify current terms and pricing with the provider.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The date above reflects the current version.
